Neat little beauty trick
I saw this sliding pencil case at walgreens for only 49 cents (originally 99 cents) and thought “Hey, that would be perfect for storing my eye brushes.
Then when I got home, and was unpacking my school bag, I saw how bulky my makeup bag was compared to this and decided to store some eye makeup in there. I can also fit a lipstick but it would show in the picture. Perfect for people in school. Ask to go to the bathroom, grab your “pencil case” and the teacher is non the wiser.
So, I gt two new things today. I have not seen these ANYWHERE, not even online, but I finally found them at walgreens. The Lip Lacquer from Rimmel was 4.99 and the Mascara was 5.99
Now, I like the lip Lacquer, which I got in Steller, but it goes on pretty thick and is very gel like. But great pigmentation for one sweep.
The Great Lash Mascara which I got in Wink of Pink, takes awhile to fully go on. And the formula is very sticky and gel like, but after quite a few coats I love it for a different look.
I plan on getting more of both.
A Nonny asked for a review on the baby lips, so I decided to include both types currently available.
There are two pure sheer colors and two pigmented as you can see from my wrist.
The Pigmented: Now, they aren’t brightly pigmented, or at least not on my lips which are naturally a bright-ish pink. But as you can see on my hand on a white surface or coming off on a makeup remover wipe, they are in fact colored, just not much. I have very sensitive lips. They usually react when there is a smell involved in a lip product but the pigmented ones don’t make my lips tingle, but they smell lovely. The purple does give a plum tint though, I might add.
The Sheer: I stupidly didn’t read the label on minty sheer, so obviously it didn’t come off pigmented like I hoped. The Quenched comes clear, but it also has SPF in it, which makes me where it under lipsticks and at night because it has moisturizing qualities. They both cause tingles on my sensitive lips, but there really isn’t detectable smell, though minty sheer does kinda smell like minty gum.
Which Product do I use more? I use the Quenched and Oh! Orange! the most. Again because quenched really moisturizes my super dry lips for me, and Oh! Orange! Gives a nice coral color on my lips.
I got all my Baby Lips at Walmart. I have also seen them at Grocery Store, but they are about a dollar more there.
Also, for the price of them, you get about a inch and 1/2, maybe a little more, of product.
